Making Your House a Home

It is very important to us that our homes be a haven for our families. Most of the time, we are all too busy with life to worry much about the clutter in our homes. This new section of Feeding God’s People is going to help us bring balance in that area :)

Each day will bring a new task to maintain our homes. Doing one small task a day helps keep the clutter away (and your Saturdays free for family fun). Please share your ideas as well!

Daily Bible Reading

We have decided to read through the Bible in a year. There are several different options available for reading plans – even one that sends the plan directly to your phone! (Check out the mobile phone version. Just hover over the mobile phone icon on the top)

It’s not too late to join in with us! Just start where we are – or catch up if you would like. On Bible Gateway there is a calendar that you can click on whichever date you would like to read!

Today is Mega SwagBucks Friday! That means more chances to win bucks to get free things!

How I use Swagbucks:
SwagBucks is my homepage. And I have the toolbar installed… so as soon as I sign on each morning, I automatically get a buck just for having the toolbar. Then I participate in the daily poll and get another buck. I visit each of my daily sites by “searching” for it on SwagBucks. Here’s how I do it. I put what I need to “search” in the toolbar search engine. Then scroll down the page until I find the correct site (usually near the top). So I am searching, but for the specific page. An example… to search Feeding God’s People (my blog), I would search “feedinggodspeople”. I don’t always win bucks, but it adds up pretty quickly!
