Publix Official Policy:
Publix accepts manufacturer’s coupons (limit one per item), Publix coupons (originals only-no copies), valid Internet coupons, and coupons from nearby competitors identified by each Publix store. (Competitor names are posted at each Publix store.) We will accept coupons from competing pharmacies for prescriptions only. We will not accept percent-off-items or percent-off-total-order coupons. We will only accept coupons for identical merchandise we sell. Acceptance is subject to any restrictions on the coupon, and we reserve the right to limit quantities. Manager approval is needed for individual coupons above $5.00. For a buy-one-get-one free (BOGO) offer, each item is considered a separate sale. We will accept a manufacturer’s coupon and either a Publix or a competitor coupon on the same item. Dollars-off-total-order coupons will be limited to one Publix and one competitor coupon per order. The order total must be equal to or greater than the total purchase requirements indicated on the coupon(s) presented.

Just wanting to know if my store in Lake Wales on 60 takes target coupons. Would also like to know where in the store would i find a list of who’s competitor’s coupon that you do take. Thank you Karen
Publix on 60 does not take Target that I know of. If they don’t have the coupon policy (which has the competitors on the other side) in the “spinny thingy” just ask at customer service.
The newly remodeled Publix in Bartow re-opened on 10/27/11. They no longer accept Target coupons…only Save A Lot & Winn Dixie

Does that mean that I can use:
– $1/2 General Mills Cereals, exp. 8/20/11 (SS 07/10/11) (as a “manufacturer’s coupon”) AND
– $0.50/1 Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal printable (as a “valid Internet coupon”)
… for: General Mills Cereals (Cinnamon Toast Crunch) – BOGO – $3.91? Can I use both coupons, since the policy says “and” instead of “or?”
That is an excellent question, Jamie! The answer is no… because both of those are manufacturer coupons. You can only use one manufacturer coupon on each item (whether it is internet printed or from a coupon insert).

Does Publix accept CVS’s ECBs as cash? Someone had told me that and I figured you guys would know best! I would also like to thank you for this blog. What a help it has brought my family in saving money in these hard times!

Publix DOES NOT accept CVS ECB’s. I think in some areas they may have before their corporate policy took effect… but I know that it is not included as a competitor for any of their stores now.

Publix at Southgate Plaza also takes Whole Foods coupons, i have used them twice this week =)
They are accepting them this week. On Monday, their new corporate policy goes into effect, and the competitors that they will take will be posted in the stores. Since there is not a Whole Foods in Polk County, they really are not a competitor in Polk County
So, has anyone else been told that publix is no longer taking the save a lot coupon if you spend $25 get $5 dollars off because of the wording?
That is correct. Publix does not have an email program, so they are not going to honor email program discounts.
